Your Forms and Applications Interactive How
does one streamline the completion of non-Acord forms and applications?
In order to complete forms, CSRs or producers have to complete them
by hand, or use a piece of archaic equipment the typewriter.
In some instances, companies provide online forms and applications,
but there is no way to save them in the agency's database, and you
must complete the application fully. All of this is completely contrary
to our mission of reducing processing time and transferring that
time to perceptible customer service and additional sales.
An example of the need to streamline the completion of non-Acord
forms is the Cincinnati Insurance Company. Cincinnati Insurance
does not always use Acord forms, but uses their own proprietary
forms and applications. Cincinnati Insurance does provide online
applications that can be completed by the agency, but they cannot
be saved to the agency management system in the proper format. The
CSR/producer, also has to complete the application in full. In other
words, the input operator would need to enter the entire application
information at one time and if he/she realized they had made a mistake
after printing the document and signing off Cincinnati's website,
he/she would have to re-enter the entire application.
Our solution is to provide interactive Adobe Acrobat forms. Agencies
provide us with a copy of the forms they want us to "digitize."
We prepare the forms so that they can be completed by the staff
on their own computers and saved on their PCs or file server. With
the use of these interactive Adobe Acrobat forms, the staff no longer
needs to use "paper" forms or typewriters.
